Minimal Account Information

To provide secure activation keys and premium features, we collect and store your email address and license status on our secure servers. This is the only personal data we maintain.

Zero Browsing History Storage

Open Comet does not collect or store your browsing history, search queries, or the content of the websites you visit. All agentic activity stays entirely inside your local browser environment.

Local Visual Processing

Visual data, including screenshots used for AI grounding, are processed locally or sent directly to your chosen AI provider. These images are never uploaded to, stored on, or accessible by Open Comet servers.

How your API keys are handled

Your AI provider API keys (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) are stored in your browser's local storage. They are sent directly to your chosen provider via encrypted channels and never pass through Open Comet infrastructure.

Ollama & Offline Autonomy

If you use Ollama, all AI inference runs on your local machine. In this mode, zero data leaves your device, providing the highest level of privacy possible.

Account Deletion

You may request the full deletion of your account and associated license history at any time through our support portal.
