1. Acceptance

By creating an account or installing Open Comet, you agree to these legal terms. If you do not agree, do not use the extension.

2. License & Access

Open Comet provides a browser-based agent. Access to premium features is granted via a secure activation key model. Licenses are non-transferable and are tied to your registered email account.

3. Professional & Free Plans

We offer both Free (Student) and Professional monthly plans. Access to premium logic and high-fidelity reasoning is contingent upon an active, valid license key issued through our official portal.

4. AI provider costs

Your AI provider API costs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) are independent of your Open Comet license. You are responsible for all third-party API charges incurred during use.

5. Autonomous actions

The extension performs autonomous browsing actions on your behalf. You are solely responsible for all actions taken by the agent, including but not limited to form submissions and data interactions. Use with caution in Auto Mode.

6. No warranty

Open Comet is provided "as is". We make no warranties regarding the accuracy of AI outputs or the extension's performance on specific third-party websites.

7. Data Security

While we manage your license status, your sensitive browsing data remains local. You are responsible for the security of your own device and AI provider API keys.

8. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
